African Lion Safari receives "highest click through" on Attractions Ontario website

Capitalizing on the "strength and recognition" of the African Lion Safari brand, OK&D created a dynamic on-line banner ad promoting the Safari on the Attractions Ontario website.

Attractions Ontario confirmed that the Safari ad generated the highest click-through rate of any of the featured Ontario attractions...more than 4x the click-throughs of the second highest performing ad.

OK&D buys into Amedius Canada

OK&D have acquired an interest in Amedius Canada Inc., a leader in web-based, channel marketing solutions. Amedius Canada President, Dan Miller, will continue to run Amedius and oversee the company's key accounts including; Hbc, Assante Wealth Management, VON Canada and the Government of Alberta. Miller will also assume a new business and senior management role with OK&D, as Vice President of Integrated Services.

Raising Our Graphic Standards

We're pleased to announce that Sara Bishop, one of our senior designers, was recently awarded R.G.D. status by the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario. Sara achieved this recognition, based on dedicated study and her pursuit of excellence in her profession.

In addition to recognizing Sara's creative skills, her R.G.D. training also ensures that the OK&D studio will follow best practices in regards to graphic file preparation, advanced technologies and efficiencies.

Hamilton to host Inaugural Hockey Skills Challenge

Hamilton has been selected as one of 6 Canadian cities to host the new, Source for Sports CCM Canadian Hockey Skills Challenge. Slated for Saturday April 19th at the Mohawk Quad Pad, the Challenge is open to all youth players (1991-1998) and organizers hope to attract competitors from across Canada.

"We've modeled the event after the professional skills challenge, but created ours as a grass-roots event for players of all skill levels" says Steve Gracie co-owner of Head's Up Source for Sports.

Pre-registration is mandatory with a fee of $25 and competitors will be accepted on a first-to-register, first-served basis. A portion of the proceeds will be awarded to Shoot For A Cure to help with their efforts towards preventing and finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.

The Challenge is offering up over $15,000 in prizes, including CCM hockey gear, Source for Sports gift cards and a Grand Prize to the the top 16 First Place winners of a free scholarship to the CCM Guts & Glory Sean Skinner Hockey School.
